Anjana Yadav, an international mountaineer hailing from Semri—a small village in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, has brought glory to both her state and the nation by successfully hoisting the Tricolor atop Mount Everest (8,848.86 meters), the world’s highest peak.

Belonging to a humble rural family, Anjana’s historic achievement is the culmination of her tireless hard work and unwavering determination. By unfurling the banner of ‘Operation Sindoor’ at the summit of Everest, Anjana Yadav paid tribute to the valor of the Indian Army and conveyed a message of patriotism.

Furthermore, she raised public awareness regarding the ‘Fit India, Hit India’ initiative and the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign for environmental conservation.
