*CISF SECURITY WING TO BE INDUCTED AT NATGRID, BENGALURU*

 

New Delhi, 30 May 2026:

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has sanctioned 76 posts for induction of a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Security Wing at the *National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), Yelahanka, Bengaluru (Karnataka).*

The newly raised unit will function under the aegis of the ‘IG (DAE & DOS) Headquarters, New Delhi.’

NATGRID is a critical national security infrastructure, aggregating data from multiple intelligence and law enforcement databases to support ‘counter-terrorism operations’.

Now, NATGRID joins the expanding list of ‘sensitive and strategically important establishments’ brought under dedicated CISF cover, further consolidating the force’s role as the ‘primary security apparatus for the protection of vital national infrastructure’ across sectors.
