Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya chaired a review meeting on the preparations for the 39th National Games 2027 in Shillong today.
The meeting was attended by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, Meghalaya Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President Dr. P. T. Usha, senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and officials of North Eastern States.
The stakeholders reviewed the progress of infrastructure development, venue readiness, coordination mechanisms, and other key preparations for the successful hosting of the National Games 2027.
Mandaviya along with Sangma inaugurated the Integrated Sports Indoor Hall in Shillong and witnessed the historic MoU signing between the IOA and the State Government for hosting the 39th National Games in 2027.
