Two-time Paralympic gold medallist India’s Sumit Antil improved his own world record in men’s javelin F64 at the 8th Indian Open International Para Athletics Championships 2026 in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Sumit Antil broke his own F64 javelin world record with a 74.82m throw. The Indian star bettered his previous mark of 73.29m set in 2023, underlining his dominance in the event.
