Another Proud Moment for the BSF

Commemorating its Diamond Jubilee Year, the Border Security Force Mt. Lhotse Expedition Team- five determined climbers- successfully summited the world’s fourth-highest peak, Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), on 23 May 2026.

Just hours after BSF’s Veeranganas unfurled glory on Mt. Everest, BSF’s men scripted another historic triumph on Mt. Lhotse. Two monumental summits in 48 hours with two teams standing atop two of the world’s tallest mountains.

These two achievement reflects the extraordinary courage, discipline and resolve that define the BSF.

Under the leadership of Lovraj Dharamshaktu, DC, the BSF bravehearts who proudly reached the summit are: Constable Vikash Singh Rawat, Constable Anwar Hussain, Constable Mahaveer Prasad, Constable Mohan Singh
