Modi urges top European companies to increase investments in India

Prime Minister Modi took the centre stage at the European Round Table for Industry to issue a call to action invest in India, and invest now. Held at Gothenburg, Sweden’s industrial heartland and a symbol of European manufacturing spirit, the high-powered roundtable saw the Indian Prime Minister address an audience of senior executives representing Europe’s largest corporations.

Modi laid out a crisp five-sector framework for deeper India-Europe industrial collaboration, challenging each company in the room to make a specific, new commitment to India within the next five years.

He also highlighted the immense potential for deeper collaboration in critical and emerging tech, green infrastructure and climate action among others.
