Maharashtra: EC announces schedule for biennial elections to 16 seats of MLC

The Election Commission (EC) has announced the schedule for the biennial elections to 16 seats of the Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC).

According to the Commission, the notification will be issued on the 25th May and the polling will be held on 18th of June.

The counting of votes will take place on 22nd of June. The Model Code of Conduct has come into force with immediate effect in the concerned Constituencies.
