Two persons were killed and another sustained injuries in a blast at a cold storage facility in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
According to officials, the explosion occurred at a cold store in the Aglar area during repair work. Three workers were injured in the incident and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Hospital sources said that two of the injured later succumbed to their injuries, while the third is undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the blast.
