Pabitra Margherita meets Tuvalu Minister in Funafuti

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita arrived in Funafuti, the capital of Tuvalu, on Friday, marking his first official visit to the country.

The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between India and Tuvalu, highlighting the longstanding friendship between the two nations.

Pabitra Margherita met Tuvalu’s Minister for Home, Climate Change, and Environment, Dr. Maina Vakafua Talia.

They discussed strengthening cooperation on climate resilience, disaster preparedness, sustainable development, and capacity building.
