Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will stop their slide as they face a resurgent Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League in Ahmedabad today. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST.

Knight Riders have endured a difficult start, losing four of their five matches and still searching for their first win of the season.

Injuries to Harshit Rana and Akash Deep, along with the release of Mustafizur Rahman, have weakened their bowling attack, while the poor form of spin duo Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy has added to their troubles.

Big-money signing Cameron Green has struggled to make an impact, and the batting order has looked unsettled, with several experienced domestic players still on the bench.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have bounced back strongly after an opening home defeat, with their bowling unit looking settled and both Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler returning to form.

Yesterday Punjab Kings (PBKS) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 7 wickets. It was MI’s 4th loss in IPL 2026. Arshdeep Singh was declared player of the match for his oustanding bowling 3/22 where as Prabhsimran Singh scored an unbeaten 80 for PBKS.
