Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday for his first official visit to India.
He is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar later in the day.
In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson extended a warm welcome to the visiting dignitary, highlighting the strong and friendly ties between the two countries.
The spokesperson added that Chancellor Stocker’s visit is expected to give further momentum to the ‘Enhanced India–Austria partnership’.
