CISF Honours its Bravehearts at National Police Memorial in New Delhi

CISF HONORS ITS BRAVEHEARTS AT NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL (NPM), CHANAKYAPURI, NEW DELHI

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) organized a commemorative event on Sunday at the National Police Memorial, New Delhi, to honor its brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

Families and Next of Kin (NoKs) of CISF bravehearts, along with family members of personnel from other Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), attended the programme in large numbers.

The event was dedicated to 127 valiant CISF personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty, showing exceptional dedication, courage and commitment to the nation.

The Director General, CISF, Praveer Ranjan, presided over the function. The DG CISF honoured the families of the bravehearts.

He interacted personally with the families/NoKs, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their sacrifice and unwavering support to the Force.

Earlier in the morning, in a deeply moving tribute, the families/NoKs of bravehearts paid homage at the Central Sculpture by offering flower petals. The Additional Director General (ADG/APS) Binita Thakur laid a wreath at the memorial as a mark of respect to the fallen heroes. A ceremonial band display was presented, adding dignity and emotional resonance to the occasion.

The families and NoKs were then taken for a walk around the NPM, including the revered ‘Wall of Valor’, where the names of martyrs are etched in stone, evoking pride and remembrance. A captivating band performance was presented by the CISF band.

As a part of the prestigious event, the families were shown a special CISF film.
