Vice President CP Radhakrishnan is on a one-day visit to Jharkhand. Upon reaching Ulihatu in Khunti, he paid tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The Vice President also met and interacted with the descendants of ‘Dharti Aaba’ (Father of the Earth).
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan arrived at Ulihatu village in Khunti at 11:00 AM today, as part of his one-day tour of Jharkhand.
At the sacred birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, local residents welcomed him with traditional rituals.
The Vice President paid his homage by garlanding the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and offering prayers. During this visit, the Vice President also felicitated Sukhram Munda, a descendant of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Furthermore, he met and interacted with the children of the family of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s descendants.
