Govt Calls All-Party Meet to Discuss on West Asia

Indian government today called an all-party meeting over the issue on Wednesday as it seeks to address the points raised by different parties and present a united face on the ongoing West Asia crisis. The meeting held on inside the parliament campus.

Senior govt functionaries, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar were present in the meeting.

According to sources, all-party meeting took place at 1700 IST today in the Parliament complex.

It also followed a review meeting chaired by Defence Minister on Tuesday, in which he discussed the conflict with CDS, IAF Chief, Defence Research and Development Organisation Chairman, among others.
