Today a total lunar eclipse will take place across several time zones. In this, the Moon moves from right to left, passing through Earth’s shadow. In India, this first rare celestial event is going to occur at 3:20 pm and will end at 06:47 pm.

According to the India Meteorological Department, a total lunar eclipse will occur when the whole Moon comes under the umbral shadow of the Earth, and a partial lunar eclipse occurs only when a part of the Moon comes under the shadow of the Earth.

This will be a major event of the year, and skywatchers and astronomers are extremely excited for this event. The last celestial phenomenon happened last month that was Solar Eclipse, but it was not visible from India.
