In Assam’s Guwahati, hydroponic cannabis has been seized at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport for the first time. The contraband, valued at around ₹1.5 crore, The Airport authorities said, the contraband was brought from Thailand in three separate bags.
The seizure was made by the Customs Department after the consignment was detected during routine scanning at the airport.
Further investigations are in progress.
