Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, the approval of the CoalSETU policy by the Union Cabinet is an important step towards strengthening India’s energy security and accelerating growth.
In a social media post yesterday, Modi said, the CoalSETU policy will create a new window to enable seamless, efficient and transparent utilisation of coal.
He said, it will support Ease of Doing Business, boost domestic availability and reduce dependence on imported coal.

In another social media X post, Prime Minister Modi said, the Cabinet’s decision to increase the Minimum Support Price for Copra for 2026 season will not only increase the income of coconut farmers but also provide encouragement to copra production.
He said, government is committed to make the lives of farmers better across the country.
