Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Hyderabad’s Technology Innovation Hub for Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN).
The MoU will help each others strength and knowledge in implementation of Autonomous Navigation which is a Safe Smart and Next Gen Mobility solution for last mile connectivity in major metros and public transit in Tier II & III cities.
TiHAN is a hub set up by Department of Science & Technology (DST) National Mission in the Cyber Physical Systems for development of Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems that enables Ground vehicles, Robots, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles / Drones or other autonomous platforms to navigate and collect data without human interventions.
