The Vice-President of India CP Radhakrishnan called for strategic collaboration among Global South Nations and emphasised ethical leadership, responsible technology use, and global Unity. Radhakrishnan said this while addressing the delegates of the 3rd Edition of the International Strategic Engagement Programme (IN-STEP) at the Vice-President’s Enclave on Friday.
The Vice-President highlighted that the IN-STEP is an initiative that serves as a strategic dialogue platform for senior national security officers from India and friendly foreign nations.
He also underlined that in an increasingly interconnected world, where ideas and challenges transcend borders, international engagement has become a shared responsibility.
He said, IN-STEP brings together Global South countries to engage strategically, think globally, and act in cohesion for a better tomorrow.
Radhakrishnan emphasized that issues such as climate change, artificial intelligence, public health, and economic development require collective, empathetic, and strategic collaboration. He said, the 3rd edition of the programme features 44 delegates, including 32 international participants from 24 countries.
