The Indian women’s cricket team will take on South Africa in the group stage of the ongoing ICC Women’s ODI World Cup on today.

The match between India and South Africa will take place at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

In their last match, Harleen Deol and Richa Ghosh’s batting blitz, along with Kriti Goud’s 3-wicket haul, proved how balanced the Indian team is.

After crushing New Zealand in their recent encounter—thanks to Tazmin Brits’ ton—South Africa have also found their rhythm.

India sit comfortably at the 2nd spot on the points table with two consecutive victories. Meanwhile, the Proteas are placed in 5th position with one win and one loss.

The top four teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the semi-finals.
