Indo-Nepal Border: NCB, SSB To Strengthen Anti-Drug Trafficking Operations

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) have decided to enhance coordination against drug trafficking on the Indo-Nepal border. Director General of NCB Anurag Garg and DG SSB Sanjay Singhal discussed the matter made a concrete roadmap in New Delhi yesterday.

The focus of the meeting was on intelligence sharing and real-time coordination, joint operations and capacity building initiatives, leveraging SSB’s border presence for effective interdiction and reinforcing NCB-SSB synergy to curb cross-border smuggling.

The meeting aimed at national security, disrupting trafficking networks and protecting youth from drug abuse through stronger cooperation at vulnerable border points.
