CBI Arrests Five in Chhattisgarh PSC Recruitment Irregularities Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested five persons in connection with irregularities in the recruitment process of the Chhatisgarh State Public Service Commission examinations held in 2020 and 2021.

Those taken into custody include former Secretary of the Commission, Jeevan Kishore Dhruv, former Controller of Examinations, Arti Wasnik, Deputy Collector Sumit Dhruv, Deputy Collector Misha Kosle, and District Excise Officer Deepa Adil.

Officials said, some of the accused are close relatives of senior Commission functionaries.

The arrests have been made as part of the ongoing probe into the alleged manipulation of examination results and favoritism in the selection of candidates for important administrative posts.
