Union Minister of Fisheries Rajiv Ranjan Singh Announces ₹1,346 Cr Grant for Kerala

Union Minister for Fisheries Rajiv Ranjan Singh in Thiruvanathapuram said that 1,346 crores rupees have been granted for the fisheries sector in Kerala.  He was addressing the Blue Tides Kerala European Union Conclave, aimed at ensuring sustainability in the fisheries sector.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, while inaugurating the conclave, said that Kerala believes that the ocean is not just a source of revenue and that the blue economy approach balances economic growth and sustainability.

Union Minister of State George Kurian and European Union Ambassador to India Herve Delphin, and Ministers of the Kerala Government also attended the event.
