Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Coal India Ltd. Sign MoU to Strengthen Quality Education in EMRs

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Coal India Limited (CIL) was signed in New Delhi today.

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram,  Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, and Director General, IIPA S. N. Tripathi were present during the MoU signed.

The initiative, under CIL’s CSR support, aims to strengthen the quality of education in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) by providing enhanced learning opportunities, capacity building, and empowerment for tribal students.

Minister Jual Oram said the MoU will help the students of Scheduled Tribe to get better education and health facility in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Jharkhand. We are thankful to the Ministry of Coal and Mines to provide the funds for the good cause.
