Australian Army Chief Visits India

Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, Australia’s Chief of Army, was briefed on the recent initiatives being undertaken by the Indian Army, including the construction of the state-of-the-art ‘Thal Sena Bhavan’.

He also planted a Tree at Manekshaw Centre to commemorate the everlasting friendship between the Indian and the Australian Army.

Lt Gen Stuart also called on Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, during his official visit to India. The two leaders held productive discussions, reaffirming their shared commitment in strengthening defence cooperation.
