Monsoon Session of Parliament to Run from 21 July to 21 August

The Monsoon session of Parliament will start on 21 July and conclude on 21 August. Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday said the President of India approved the government’s proposal to convene the monsoon session.

He added that, in view of the Independence Day celebrations, there will be no sittings on 13-15 August.

In the Monsoon Session opposition parties are expected to raise several issues, including a demand for a special discussion on the Pahalgam terror attack and aftermath the Operation Sindoor.
