Assam Police seizes Drugs worth Rs 6 crore in Sribhumi

As part of its ongoing anti-drugs operation, Assam Police seized heroin worth Rs 6 crore from Nilambazar in Sribhumi district on Assam. Three drug peddlers were arrested during the operation.

Police intercepted a vehicle near Lalpul and recovered 870 grams of heroin. The arrested persons were identified as Saleh Alam Laskar from Hailakandi, Iftikhar Ahmed Laskar from Hatigaon in Guwahati and Sabir Ahmed from Sribhumi.
