Tension continues to rise in Argentina as Garrahan Hospital workers marched to the Government House on Thursday, demanding fair wages and better working conditions in a growing standoff with the government.

The protest, organized by the State Workers Association (ATE), drew participants from various hospital departments. Workers say they are overburdened with long hours and underpaid, despite a recent pay hike announced by Health Minister Mario Lugones.

Staff argue the raise is inadequate and claim that successive governments have failed to address their concerns.

With no new proposals on the table, protesters warned of an escalating healthcare crisis if their demands remain unheard.
