India slips down to 2nd place in World Test Championship Table

New Delhi || 03-11-2024 New Zealand won the 3rd Test with 25 Runs courtesy 6 wickets haul by Azaz Patel and clean swept the Test Series 3-0
A fighting and aggressive Rishabh Pant’s 60 runs went in vain. India was unable to  chase down the target of 147 with wickets tumbling at regular intervals.
India bundled out within 30 overs. Player of the match spinner Azaz Patel got a best personal figure of 11/160 in the match.
The dream boy from Mumbai stunned India in Mumbai. Azaz Patel emigrated from Mumbai to New Zealand with his family when he was only 8.
Now India slipped to second place in the World Test Championship(WTC) point table. Australia lead the table followed by India, Sri Lanka,New Zealand and England.
India will play a 5 match test series with Australia in Perth from November 22-26. The performance of India in Australia will decide who will play the Final of WTC 2025 in England.
