Nayab Singh Saini takes oath as the CM of Haryana for the second time

New Delhi | 18-10-2024 Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday took oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time at a ceremony in Panchkula attended by NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulating  Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and his ministerial colleagues on their swearing-in, said this team is a wonderful mix of good governance and experience.

Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Panwar and Rao Narbir Singh were among those administered the oath of office by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.

The BJP’s choice of the day for the swearing-in ceremony is significant as it is Valmiki Jayanti. Sage-poet Valmiki is the author of the Hindu epic Ramayana and a revered figure, especially among Dalits.

Haryana Government can have a maximum of 14 ministers, including the chief minister.

Chief ministers of several NDA ruled states attended the Oath Ceremony. Stalwarts like BJP president J P Nadda, Union minister Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah were also present on the occasion.
