The England Men’s selection panel has made one change to the playing XI to take on India at Lord’s today. The series is finely poised at 1-1 following India’s 336-run victory at Edgbaston on Sunday.

England Captain Ben Stokes says, “It’s really exciting and great for the English fans.”

Sussex fast bowler Jofra Archer replaces Josh Tongue for the third game of the five-Test series. The 30-year-old right-arm quick returns to the England Test team for the first time since February 2021 and will make his 14th cap.

The Barbados born pacer had taken 42 wickets in 13 Test matches. He is having the best figure of 6/45, but in batting he is a better player than the stat suggests. He had scored 155 runs with an average of 7.75.
