Manu Bhaker to lead India’s 35-member shooting squad at the 16th Asian Championship

Double Olympic medallist, Indian sport shooter Manu Bhaker, headlines the Indian squad for the 16th Asian Championship in Kazakhstan, which will take place from 16-30 August.

Manu Bhaker is the only shooter to make the cut for two individual events. She will compete in the women’s 10m air pistol and the women’s 25m pistol events.

The squad for the Asian competition consists of 35 members for the 15 events.

Expected names to finish the podium include former men’s air rifle world champion Rudrankksh Patil, and Olympians Anjum Moudgil, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Saurabh Chaudhary, and others.
