A day after Elon Musk intensified his feud with U.S. President Donald Trump by announcing plans to form a new U.S. political party, Donald Trump dismissed the move as “ridiculous.”
President Trump launched fresh criticism at the tech billionaire, also questioning the decision to name Musk’s ally Jared Isaacman to lead NASA, saying it would have posed a conflict of interest due to Musk’s space business ventures.
Shortly after addressing Musk, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform, expressing, “I am saddened to watch Elon Musk go completely ‘off the rails,’ essentially becoming a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks.” He further called it “inappropriate” to appoint Isaacman as NASA administrator given Musk’s ties to the space agency.
