Delhi Devotees celebrate Rath Yatra at Jagannatha Temple, Hauz Khas

The Festival of faith and devotion “Rath Yatra”, also known as the Car or Chariot Festival in Puri today celebrated with joy. People around the world had darshan as the deities came to the Chariot to move to the Gundicha Devi Temple. Around 13 Lakh people have participated in the Rath Yatra.
Reports are coming from India and around the world that a large number of people celebrated the festival with joy and devotion. Wooden Decorated Chariots marched on roads with grand procession.
In the capital Delhi at the Jagannatha Temple, Hauz Khas also devotees participated with great enthusiasm. In a colourful Chariot Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra had a round-up in the nearby places.
Large number of devotees pulled the chariot.
 
The charitable organization Indian Liver Patient Foundation (ILPF) in collaboration with Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha, Delhi positioned a First-Aid Health Stall with two Ambulances. A pool of experienced doctors with para-medic staff were serving the devotees who were in need for emergency treatment.
To manage and control the crowd, Delhi Police and the Paramilitary forces had been deployed.
