Ministry of Civil Aviation Lifts the Temporary Closure of 32 Airports

In a big decision taken by Ministry of Civil Aviation, temporary closure of 32 Airports for civil Aircraft operations till 05:29 hrs of 15 May 2025 has been lifted. These Airports are now available for civil Aircraft operations with immediate effect.

In a Press Release, Aviation Ministry stated “Travellers are advised to check flight status directly with the Airlines and monitor Airline’s websites for regular updates.”

After the India-Pakistan tension 32 Airports in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, and Rajasthan were temporarily closed.
