Five-Storey Building Collapses in Delhi

A five-storey building housing a boys’ PG collapsed in south Delhi’s Satya Niketan area on Sunday afternoon.

Rescue operation is underway at the site. Further details regarding the incident, including whether anyone was trapped or injured in the collapse, are awaited.

Authorities are assessing the situation at the spot and carrying out necessary operations in connection with the building collapse. Further information is expected as the rescue operation progresses.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep distress over the building collapse.

The Prime Minister extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

He further noted that authorities are actively working at the site and providing assistance to all those affected by the incident.

There is no confirmed report that how many people are trapped under the debris.
