Around 1,600 athletes and officials from 36 Central and State Police organisations are competing across five disciplines — Judo, Taekwondo, Wushu, Karate and Pencak Silat.

On the opening day of the Championship, the Women’s Judo event was concluded. CISF secured the Runners-up Trophy in the Women’s Judo event, winning medals in all seven weight categories — 02 Silver and 05 Bronze. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) emerged as the Overall Champions of the event.

Medals in every weight category contested reflect the depth, discipline and preparation of CISF’s women athletes, and reaffirm the Force’s sustained commitment to promoting women in sports. Nine forces from among the 18 participating teams finished on the women’s medal table, underscoring the growing strength of women’s judo across the uniformed fraternity.

The Men’s Judo event concluded this evening, 24 July 2026. The Championship continues at Hyderabad until 30 July 2026 with competitions in Taekwondo, Wushu, Karate and Pencak Silat. CISF extends its best wishes to all participating athletes.
