Australia has reaffirmed its dominance in women’s cricket once again, defeating England to win a record-extending seventh ICC Women’s T20 World Cup title.

Playing at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, Australia defeated England by seven wickets in the final. After winning the toss, Australia elected to bowl first and restricted England to 150 for four in 20 overs.

Australia comfortably chased down the target, reaching 153 for three in just 17.1 overs. Beth Mooney anchored the chase with 64 off 49 balls and struck 10 boundaries.

This was the fourth Women’s T20 World Cup final between Australia and England, and Australia has now won all four, having also defeated England in the 2012, 2014, and 2018 championship matches.
