Ashwini Vaishnaw, Bhajan Lal Sharma Flag Off Jaipur-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express

Union Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma today flagged off the Jaipur-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express from Khatipura Railway Station in Jaipur. They also inaugurated the Mega Coaching Terminal at Khatipura and dedicated upgraded passenger amenities at several railway stations.

Speaking on the occasion, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, railway infrastructure and services are witnessing unprecedented growth across the country. Announcing the development of a new railway station at Sundarpura in Sikar district, he said the project would facilitate travel for millions of devotees visiting Khatu Shyam Ji.

He further said that the Mega Coaching Terminal in Jaipur would significantly strengthen railway infrastructure. The facility will be capable of maintaining around 450 trains, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and improving passenger services.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said, Indian Railways is undergoing a remarkable transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He noted that the expansion and modernisation of the railway network are boosting trade, tourism, education, and employment opportunities in Rajasthan, while also strengthening the state’s social, cultural, and economic links with the rest of the country.
