Re-evaluation process to begin for CBSE Class 12 examination

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that re-evaluation process will now begin after certain issues have come to light regarding the CBSE Class 12th examination evaluation process. Speaking to Media after the meeting with CBSE officials in New Delhi, Pradhan said that officials will ensure that no student query left unresolved and accountability will be ensured at all levels.

Taking responsibility of discrepancies, the Education Minister said that these issues will be rectified and appropriate solutions will be worked out.

He said that On-Screen Marking (OSM) is a progressive instrument and many universities and institutions in India, as well as several institutions across the world, are moving towards this system.

He further added that this is the first time CBSE has implemented this system in the country, and nearly 40 crore scanned pages were evaluated for the first time by CBSE through the OSM process.
