Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal embarked for Canada from May 25 to 27 to advance ongoing negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic and Partnership Agreement and hold industry interactions. He is accompanied by representatives from more than 100 Indian companies.
During the visit, Goyal will call on Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney and hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with Foreign Minister Anita Anand, aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation in priority sectors.
