CBI arrests 10 accused in NEET-UG paper leak

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested ten accused so far in NEET paper leak case from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nasik, Pune, Latur and Ahliyanagar. In the last 24 hours, CBI has also conducted searches at five locations at various places and seized several incriminating documents, Laptops, and mobile phones.

The investigation conducted so far has brought out the actual source of the leakage of Chemistry and Biology papers which were circulated before the exam.

Earlier, the examination conducted on the 3rd of this month was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak.

The agency has arrested the owner of RCC Coaching Institute Prof Shivaraj Motegaonkar in the NEET Paper leak case.

He is running this institute which gave coaching to the students for NEET UG examination.

It has nine branches with main branch at Latur. He is also close to P V Kulkarni, Chemistry Lecturer, who is associated with National Testing Agency.
