President of Vietnam, To Lam, called on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on Thursday. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance economic cooperation between Vietnam and Maharashtra.

Following the meeting, both leaders jointly participated in a Business Forum where President To Lam emphasised that Vietnam and India are among the leading growth engines of Asia, backed by ancient historical and cultural ties.

He noted that in the face of current geopolitical challenges, Vietnam remains a trusted and reliable partner for development and economic cooperation.
