Northern Railway has extended the additional coach facility on Train No. 12425/12426 Rajdhani Express to ease passenger rush and long waiting lists during the summer season.

According to a press release issued by Jammu Division, an extra 3rd AC coach on Train No. 12426 (Jammu to New Delhi) will now run from May 9 to May 15.

Officials said the move will provide around 72 additional berths per trip, increasing chances of confirmed tickets for waitlisted passengers.

The facility is expected to benefit passengers boarding from intermediate stations such as Pathankot Cantt, Ludhiana and Ambala.

Passengers can check berth availability and book tickets through the IRCTC website or railway reservation counters.

Railways have advised passengers to plan and book their journeys in advance for a hassle-free travel experience.
