Vietnamese President To Lam Offers Prayers at Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya

The President of Vietnam, To Lam offered prayers at the world-famous Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya in Bihar on Tuesday.

He paid homage to Lord Buddha by meditating under the sacred Bodhi Tree. Thereafter, President To Lam visited the Vietnamese Monastery, where he participated in various religious and cultural activities.

His visit is being considered highly significant in terms of strengthening the religious and spiritual ties between India and Vietnam.

Earlier, upon his arrival at Bodh Gaya Airport, he was welcomed by the Governor, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Syed Ata Hasnain, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.
