Punjab Police files two FIRs against MP Sandeep Pathak

Punjab Police has filed two FIRs against Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak who had recently joined BJP along with 6 other Rajya Sabha MPs of Aam Aadmi Party that triggered a fresh political flashpoint in Punjab.

According to sources, two FIRs have been filed in two different districts of Punjab, however, the names of both the districts have not yet been officially disclosed. This is the second such action against two of those AAP MPs who switched over to BJP.

On Thursday, officials from the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) raided a textile unit of Trident Group owned by Rajya Sabha member, Rajinder Gupta.
