Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Defence Ministers’ Meeting. On the sidelines of the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meet, the Defence Minister is holding bilateral talks with his counterparts from other SCO member states to further strengthen defence ties.
As part of this, Minister Rajnath Singh interacted with his Chinese counterpart, Admiral Dong Jun.
Rajnath Singh also interacted with his Russian counterpart, Andrey Belousov, in Bishkek.
Earlier, India’s Defence Minister began his Kyrgyzstan visit by paying floral tributes at Victory Square in Bishkek.
During the day, he will also interact with the Indian community in Bishkek.
