India beats Canada 4-1 in Thomas Cup

Indian Men’s team beat Canada 4-1 in the Thomas Cup in Denmark. In the first match Lakshy Sen lost to Victor Lai 21-18, 19-21-10-21. But Indian duo Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy came back strongly to level 1-1 by winnig 21-10. 21-11 against Lai and Lee.

In the third rubber, Ayush Shetty won 21-13, 21-17 against canadian B Yang to continue the lead 2-1.

Then India finished with winning the doubles and at the last match Kidambi Srikanth won it 21-17. 21- 12.

In the Uber Cup Indian Women’s team trailing 1-2 against Denmark. In the first match P V Sindhu won in 3 games match 21-13, 18-21, 21-17, which last 1 hour and 1 minute.

After that India lost 2 matches with Unnati Hooda losing by 12-21, 23-25 and the doubles match.
