The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has busted an alleged sleeper cell linked to Pakistan’s ISI and arrested two suspects—Tushar Chauhan alias Hizbullah Ali Khan from Meerut and Sameer Khan from Delhi—in Noida.

ATS said the duo was in contact with Pakistani handlers and gangsters via social media and encrypted channels and was being radicalised and directed to carry out reconnaissance, targeted killings, and terror attacks.

Weapons, including a pistol, five live cartridges, and a knife, were recovered.

Investigations revealed links to ISI operatives and tasks such as marking targets and recruiting others. A case has been registered under BNS, Arms Act, and UAPA, and further investigation is underway to trace the wider network.
