Global e-commerce giant, Amazon, extended its operational footprint into the Kashmir Valley through the dedicated JPP–RCS freight services of Northern Railways.

With the commencement of daily VP-based cargo movement between Adarsh Nagar (ANDI )and Budgam rail terminal (BDGM) , a robust and reliable logistics corridor has been established.

The service ensures forward loading from the National Capital Region to the Valley and return loading of Valley produce back to the capital, creating a truly integrated two-way supply chain.

This pioneering initiative of Northern Railway has enabled swift, seamless, and time-bound transportation of goods between the National Capital and Kashmir Valley in under 30 hours, redefining efficiency benchmarks for long-distance freight movement in challenging terrains.
